Southern Illinois Dermatology diagnoses and treats various types of skin cancers. Early detection of skin cancer provides the greatest opportunity of successful treatment. We are here to help you understand your diagnosis and treatment options and aim to be the resource who can guide you every step of the way, from prevention to care.

Southern Illinois Dermatology offers dermatologic surgical services from minimal invasive procedures to the advanced Adjacent Tissue Transfer procedure. All procedures are done in our office on an outpatient basis. Our team will work with each patient making sure they understand the procedure while reassuring them of their surgical process.

Dr. Ted G VanAcker is the founder of Southern Illinois Dermatology and an American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology Board Certified physician. Along with decades of experience providing excellent dermatological services to the area, Dr. VanAcker has served as a consultant to most major dermatological drug companies for his medical expertise.

Dr. VanAcker believes in keeping our practice a physician-owned provider dedicated to patient service first. At Southern Illinois Dermatology, we want you to feel like your voice is being heard, your concerns are getting addressed, and your issues can be assessed in a timely manner.
